NEW DELHI - Apple Vision Pro, an advanced augmented reality (AR) device, was utilized for the first time in a live bariatric surgery, showcasing its potential to revolutionize medical procedures.

The groundbreaking surgery, conducted by Dr. Mohit Bhandari and his team at a Pristyn Care surgical centre in New Delhi, involved a sleeve gastric bypass and a Single Anastomosis Duodenal-Ileal (SADI) procedure on a 45-year-old patient weighing 155 kg.
